Jeremy Ward has owned roughly 20 cars in the last 15 years, including mostly Imports with a helping of Domestics here and there. His first real "modified" car came in 1995 when he started with a 1994 Honda Civic (intake, exhaust and springs), next came an 1992 Eagle Talon AWD turbo (larger turbo, piggy back EFI computer, suspension and brake) all purchased through Apex Motorsports in 1996. After he purchased a 1996 Eagle Talon AWD turbo, he enlisted the services of Anthony Szirka to transfer all the parts from the older car to the newer car, which is originally how he met Tony.
At the time Tony was the only mechanic at the dealership who would touch this type of car car (mind you this was 1997, still the early in the days of import industry, especially in Arizona). After working on the Eagle Talon, Tony's interest in the DSM/4G63 combo was sparked. Skipping ahead two years, Jeremy started acquiring parts for fellow enthusiasts in the Prescott area, which led him to start developing contacts in the industry. While working for Centerforce for a brief period before moving on to other opportunities, he created a professional relationship with the company that still stands strong today. Moving on to Discount Tire Co, he learned about customer service, sales and business management, along with indepth knowledge of wheels and tires.
Jeremy was heavily involved in Discount Tire Company's venture into the world of drifting, which partnered us with Falken Tire. He traveled the Formula D circuit, working the promotion side, talking to spectators and working along side support teams to assist with quick tire changes. In 2007 UMS's growth allowed Tony to acquire Jeremy's excellent customer service and management skills to handle the front office logistics and customer relations.
